Sly Mr Y is a high energy, classic rock and pop band performing songsc from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The band has been together since 2005 and still consists of all original members. They have performed at prestigious venues like the Bite of Seattle, local summer concert series and casinos. They have performed at the Tour de Terrace every year since they joined together.

Chris Yates
(vocals/guitar) was born and raised in Mountlake Terrace. He has made a name for himself in the bands FUGUTIVE, The New Blues Brothers Review, The Silhouettes, TimeSlip, and now Sly Mr Y. Chris has performed the American and Canadian National Anthems for multiple professional sporting events including the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, Silvertips, Aquasox and Seattle Sounders games. For the past few years he has started a new musical venture singing and entertaining at area assisted living and retirement homes. His versatility shines with his vast music repertoire making it easy for him to perform songs from the 50’s through current recordings.

bio-jeffJeff Roberts (bass/vocals) has developed his natural talent throughout the years playing in many different bands including Gopherbroke and a few different Elvis tribute bands.  Over the years he developed a unique style of playing his bass and singing. When he is not demonstrating his vocal talent and harmonizing, he and his bass are often seen wandering the dance floor.

bio-paulPaul Buchignani (drums/vocals) studied at the University of Wisconsin where he learned how to play acoustic guitar, keyboard and drums.  Upon moving to the Northwest he played in several bands including Light Years and EverAfter.  He also played percussion in the Boeing Concert band and the Seattle Civic Orchestra.  Having played different genres, of music he has realized that drums are his passion and that rock is his driving force.  You can check out his web site at

bio-lonnieLonnie Mueller (guitar) began his musical career in high school and was also born and raised in Mountlake Terrace.  After graduation he went on to study at the Guitar Institute of Technology in California, where he developed his interest in all types of music including Jazz, Fusion, Blues, Classical and Country.  Having played Classic Rock for many years, he got into writing and recording his own original music, as well as playing cover songs with the bands Light Years, Gopherbroke and TimeSlip.  He puts so much enthusiasm into his music and makes it look effortless.

bio-lindyLindy Berger (percussion/vocals/flute/sax) is a native Seattle musician who started his interest in music at an early age. Lindy participated in the all city-band while attending Ballard high school. After Graduation Lindy attended the University of Washington where he continued to master his interest in music, studying under William O. Smith. His genres in music range from rock, blues, jazz, country and gospel. Lindy currently plays with Sly Mr Y and the band EverAfter. When not performing live, Lindy does studio work and has worked on movie soundtracks.
